Screenwright(R)
plus WordPerfect 9!
Before
downloading or registering,
please read the following:
Hi! I'm Alan C.
Baird ("Alan"), the author of Screenwright(R). [Here's my latest
project, a dime-store
picture
(6K) of me, and a
view (25K)
outside my Glendale, California window, facing the San Gabriel mountains.]
I've been delighted to receive lots of positive feedback and requests for
demos and upgrades, so I'll continue to work on it, as long as I can afford
to do so. Because some folks have been hesitant to invest money before
trying this system (even with the former thirty-day guarantee), I've decided
to make the purchase decision even easier, and to distribute the software
more universally. The files linked below comprise three fully-functional
unregistered versions of Screenwright(R), for evaluation purposes only.
Since this is now a shareware program, you can legally try it out free
of charge for 30 days to see if it suits your needs. Should you
decide that you'd like to continue using it, please register your copy
(the form is below - this page is
print-friendly). The completed registration will license you to use
your copy of Screenwright(R), will support work on future versions, new
features and bug fixes, and will provide you with eMail technical support.
I've put sliding-scale dollar amounts on the various versions which I hope
are fair, and which I trust most people can afford. Any current user
may apply past payments toward reducing the registration fee for a
newer version.
Screenwright(R)
may be freely distributed subject, but not limited, to the following terms:
it may not be sold or resold, or used in or distributed to support any type
of profit-generating or commercial activity, even if it is distributed freely
(all commercial-use questions should be directed to
Alan). Preserving the integrity of the
distribution files is essential - they must be disseminated in
their original format. None of the contents may be modified,
decompiled, or reverse-engineered.
Screenwright(R)
is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, either express or implied,
including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Alan be liable for any
damages whatsoever, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential,
loss of business profits or special damages, even if Alan has been
advised of the possibility of such damages.
