Joy Kathleen Adle Megdanis (25 Dec 1951 - 20 Nov 2007, Age: 55)
JUPITER, FL -- Joy Kathleen Adle, 55 of Jupiter, formerly of North Chelmsford, MA lost her battle with cancer on November 20, 2007. Born in Lowell, MA on December 25, 1951, she was the daughter of Janice Adle and the late Paul Adle. She graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1969. After working for many years in the shoe business in Lowell and New York City, she moved to Florida and was the Executive Director of the Horticulture Society of South Florida for 12 years.
Besides her mother, Janice Adle of Lake Park, she is survived by a sister, Joanne Demaras of Lake Park , a brother James Adle his wife Joy and their children Jayne and Julia of Palm Beach Gardens , niece Kelly Buckstrup and her husband Kevin of Lowell, MA and her very dear friend Deborah Miller of Newton, MA. She will miss her beloved Boston Red Sox. Go Pats.
A celebration of her life will be held at The Benjamin School Barker Performing Arts Center located on McLaren Road in North Palm Beach, FL on Sunday January 20, 2008 at 1PM. Nancy J. Albertine Dutney (28 Oct 1950 - 01 Aug 2013, Age: 62)
DRACUT, MA -- Nancy J. (Albertine) Dutney, 62, died, Thursday, August 1st, 2013, at the Northwood Rehab Center in Lowell, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was the beloved wife of Dennis W. Dutney with whom she was married for 38 years.
Nancy was born in Arlington, MA on October 28, 1950, a daughter of Hope and the late Connell Albertine. She was educated in Chelmsford and a graduate of Chelmsford High School.
For many years, Nancy worked for C.R. Bard in the shipping and receiving department, and then worked as a crossing guard for the town of Dracut and in the school cafeterias. Most recently, she worked for the Home Health V.N.A.
Nancy was the most loving and caring mother and wife, and has left her memory for her family to cherish forever.
Along with her husband, Dennis and her mother, Hope, Nancy is survived and will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Charlene Rogers and her husband, Devin of Dracut, and Melanie Bettencourt and her husband, Josh of Dracut; four grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Cadence, and Harper; sister, Joyce Bowker of Martha's Vineyard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
DUTNEY -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 1 to 5 p.m. on SUNDAY, August 4th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. BRADENTON, FL -- Stephen H. Bagshaw, 52, formerly of Chelmsford, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Manatee Hospital in Bradenton.
He was born in Lowell on Sept. 14, 1950, a son of the late Mark H. and Jean (McIntosh) Bagshaw. He had lived in Bradenton for the past 20 years.
Mr. Bagshaw worked as a landscaper in the Bradenton area.
He is survived by two brothers, Seth H. Bagshaw of Boxford and Mark H. Bagshaw of Pepperell. He was also the brother of Jonathan H. Bagshaw, who died in 1991.

Donna M. Beaubien (13 Nov 1951 - 21 Feb 2011, Age: 59)
CHELMSFORD -- Donna M. Beaubien, "Miss Beaubien", 59, a beloved and well known first grade school teacher at St. Margaret School in Lowell, died on Monday, February 21st, at her home after a long, well-fought battle with ovarian cancer.
Born in Chelmsford, November 13, 1951, the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Mary F. (McHugh) Beaubien and sister of the late H. Wayne Beaubien and Kevin M. Beaubien, both of Chelmsford.
A lifelong resident of Chelmsford, Donna graduated from Chelmsford High School and Lowell State Teachers College. She was a proud member of the CHS Cheerleading Squad and as a young teacher, the spirited coach of the St. Margaret School Girls Basketball Team. Donna was a board member of the St. Margaret Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality and a National Junior Beta Society sponsor for many years.
Donna co-founded Celebrating Friends, Inc., a greeting card company that wrote and produced "Messages of Hope" for cancer patients. In her later years, her passion was the establishment of an Alumni Association at St. Margaret School. She experienced incredible joy as she found and reconnected with former students spanning 3 generations.
Miss Beaubien committed her entire life to the children and families at SMS and she never forgot the names of anyone who ever walked its halls. She was considered a leader amongst her peers, a mentor and hero to her students and a friend to all.
BEAUBIEN -- Donna M. Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, on Friday from 4 until 8pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30am at St. Margaret Church, 374 Stevens St., Lowell. Burial will be private. SARASOTA, FL -- He was born in Lowell on Feb. 10, 1952, a son of Joe and Virginia Blamy of Chelmsford.
Mr. Blamy formerly owned and operated Glenview Appliance in Lowell, and had lived in Pepperell before moving to Sarasota 10 months ago.
Besides his wife and parents, survivors include a son, Aaron Blamy of Nahant; a daughter, Kimberlee Piknick of Hyannis; two stepsons, William and Michael Fitzpatrick, both of Pepperell; two sisters, Joanne Bevers of Bradenton, and Linda Sullivan of Chelmsford. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Theresa Goode of Bradenton; a brother, Douglas Blamy of Chelmsford; and six grandchildren.

William E. "Billy" Cormier (14 Jul 1951 - 12 Feb 2013, Age: 61)
DUNSTABLE, MA -- William E. "Billy" Cormier, 61, a resident of Dunstable since 1983, and formerly of Chelmsford, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Leslie (Vincent) Cormier with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage on October 28th.
He was born in New Bedford, MA on July 14, 1951, and was a son of the late Lucien C. and Doris A. (James) Cormier.
Billy graduated Cum Laude earning his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Lowell (now UMass Lowell) Class of 1978 and was a 1969 graduate of Chelmsford High School.
He began his 34-year career at Alpha Industries, which later became Skyworks, where he was employed as a Regional Sales Manager.
Billy traveled around the world for business, but his favorite place was the home that he and his wife designed and built 30 years ago and which he continually renovated. He found his greatest joy in the company of his family, whether vacationing along the New England seacoast, watching his son, Max, play sports or joking with his daughter, Brielle, who inherited his smile and contagious laugh. Billy truly treasured friends and family and welcomed the opportunity to be the gracious host and chef, especially when serving his legendary barbecued ribs.
In addition to his loving wife, Billy is survived by his children, Brielle N. Cormier of Chelmsford, and Max V. Cormier of Dunstable; three sisters, Carole Dunbar and her husband, Dennis of ME, Christine Blandford and her husband, Jim of VA, and Susan Coleman and her husband, Tom of CA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clint and Anne Vincent of Chelmsford; sisters-in-law, Lisa Baker and Leanne Emerson of Chelmsford; and many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves countless friends, lifelong and new, who were honored to have known him.
CORMIER -- WILLIAM E. "BILLY". Memorial visitation will take place on Sunday from 12 to 4 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. NORTH CHELMSFORD -- Mrs. Carol Mary Witts, 60, of North Chelmsford, MA died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.
She was married to Mr. Brian Witts with whom she celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in April.
The daughter of Gerald and Eleanor (Loftus) Daley. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1969. She attended Northern Essex Community College.
She worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Special Education Department for the Chelmsford Public Schools, primarily in the Center and Harrington Elementary Schools.
She was a member of Cross Pointe Community Church of Nashua, NH.
Carol was a lifelong resident of Chelmsford. She loved to shop.
Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Matthew Franco of N. Chelmsford, her granddaughter, Kaylie Rucker of N. Chelmsford, her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Debbie Daley of N. Chelmsford, her mother-in-law, Cynthia Witts of Lowell, MA, her brother-in-law and his wife, Ernest and Patricia Witts of Dracut, MA and her sister-in-law and her husband, Deborah and Stephen Graham of Lowell, MA. She is also survived by 10 nieces and 10 nephews.
She was the sister of the late Eleanor "Francie" Daley of N. Chelmsford, MA who died in August of 2011.

Kevin Ferreira (26 May 1951 - 29 Aug 1990, Age: 39) ~ ~ grave
BOSTON -- Kevin Ferreira of Chelmsford, an electrician, died Wednesday at Brigham and Women's Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident at work. He was 39.
Born in Lowell, he lived most of his life in Chelmsford. He was a 1969 graduate of Chelmsford High School, where he was a member of the football and hockey teams.
Mr. Ferreira was a journeyman electrician with the Massachusetts Electrical Contracting Co. of Boston. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church of Chelmsford and belonged to Local 103 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Mr. Ferreira was the son of the late Charles and Katherine (Welch) Ferreira of Chelmsford. He is survived by four sisters, Kathleen Neild of Chelmsford, Karen Greenwood of Dennis, Charlene of Winthrop and Karla Kohl of Chelmsford; a brother, Dr. Charles W. of Charlotte, Vt.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mr. Ferreira at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary's Church, North Road, Chelmsford. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Arrangements are by Saunders Funeral Home, Chelmsford.

LOWELL -- On March 30th, 2013, Edward Grondine, passed away at the age of 61 after a long, sordid affair with cancer. He was the beloved partner of Louise Moran of Dracut and dear friend to many in and around the city of Lowell.
The youngest of nine children, Ed was born on October 18, 1951 in North Chelmsford to the late Philippe and Flossie (Garneau) Grondine. He attended Chelmsford schools and graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1969, getting into only enough trouble to have amusing stories to tell later on.
Ed would eventually move to Lowell, where he spent nearly all of his adult life. Known to his wide circle of friends as "Ed the Plumber," he was a longtime communicant at the The Old Worthen, the Firefighters Club and later the Lafayette Club. An avid golfer, Ed was a regular at the Tyngsboro Country Club and always looked forward to his annual pilgrimage to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was also a talented, competitive darts and cards player, whipping family and friends at cribbage right up until he died.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Brandy Grondine and her husband George Cassie of Lynn, MA, his son Philippe Grondine of Bozeman, MT, and his close and dear friend, Barbara Lewis Grondine, of Lowell. He is also survived by his seven sisters and brothers-in law, Terri and Joe Dolecki and Rita and Chuck Masuga, of Riverside, CA, Claire and Richard Groulx, of Oceanside, CA, Maryann (Mc Nulty) Tabor, of Banning, CA, Connie (Gervais) Mullen, of Port Charlotte, FL, Dorothy and Jerry Quimby, of Boise, ID, and Estelle and Ed Abely, of Chelmsford, MA, as well as one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Nancy Grondine, of Pelham, NH. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins along with more friends than there are column inches to list.

SHIRLEY, MA -- Ellen A. (Maneely) Sotera, 61, of Shirley, formerly of Groton and Lunenburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at her residence.
Ms. Sotera was born in Rome, NY, May 25, 1951, the daughter of Gerald and C. Arlene (Barton) Maneely and resided many years in Groton before moving to Lunenburg and then Shirley. She was a 1969 graduate of Chelmsford High School.
For the past fifteen years, Ms. Sotera has worked as a legal secretary in the Law Office of Atty. June Adams Johnson in Groton. Previously, she had worked for the Towns of Harvard and Groton and for the Groton Police Department.
She leaves two daughters, Christine E. Sotera of Westerly, RI, Melanie A. Sotera of Nashua, NH; a sister-in-law, Patricia Maneely of Andover, NH; two nephews, Brian Maneely and Josh Ranson; two nieces, Shannon Maneely- Ranson and Erin Maneely, and cousin Karen Hawkins. She was the sister of the late Robert Maneely of Andover, NH.
Ellen's sense of humor, her compassion for those around her, and her ceaseless generosity will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew her well.

Richard A. Marchand (7 Aug 1951 - 19 Jan 2016, Age: 64) ~ ~ grave
GOFFSTOWN, NH -- Richard A. Marchand, 64, a longtime resident of Goffstown, died unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016. He was the loving husband of Jennifer A. (Mike) Marchand of Goffstown, who was his best friend. Born in Lowell, Mass., on Aug. 7, 1951, he was a son of the late Albert A. Marchand and Clementine (Ferreira) Marchand. Richard was raised in Chelmsford, Mass., and was a 1969 graduate of Chelmsford High School.
His career was spent in the trucking industry, where he most recently spent more than 15 years as a cement truck driver until his retirement in December. Richard had a passion for small engine repair. He was a very talented and giving man who was always willing to help anyone in need.
His family was the most important thing in his life. He was a loving grandfather and Gidu or Grampy, and his grandchildren absolutely adored him. In addition to his loving wife, Richard is survived by his children, Jeffrey Marchand of Lowell, Jason Marchand and his wife, Christine, of Bedford, Matthew Cameron of Brooklyn, N.Y., and David Cameron and his wife, Melanie, of Goffstown, and grandchildren Benjamin Marchand, Hannah and Henry Cameron, and Katherine Marchand. He also leaves a sister, Linda Young, and her husband, Roger, of Bourne, Mass., and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford, Mass. His funeral service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. YARMOUTH, MA -- James L. Packer, 57, of West Yarmouth, died Sat., July 28, 2007, at his home. He was born in Lowell, July 26, 1950, son of the late Jean (Wacome) (Packer) Vinecombe of Nashua. He graduated from Chelmsford High School. Mr. Packer was involved with the research and development of kidney dialysis filtration systems. In later years, he became an avid gardener and landscaper. He was an active member of the Family Moose Lodge #2270 in West Yarmouth. He is survived by his loving son, Séamus F. Packer; and grandson, Liam Gabriel Packer of Chelmsford; a brother, Arthur Packer and his wife, residing in Florida; a cousin, Bill Wacome of Dracut; and many friends he met throughout his life.

Patricia was born in Woburn on October 13, 1951, the daughter of Mildred (Geoghegan) Schroeder of N. Chelmsford, MA and the late Leonard Schroeder. She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1969, and went on to Newbury College where she received an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts.
Patricia volunteered with the Table of Plenty as a chef. She was a member of the Chelmsford Alumni Association.
She enjoyed traveling, Foxwoods, and spending time with her family.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her sister Donna Schroeder of N. Chelmsford, her brother and sister-in-law, Lenny and Cheryl Schroeder of Westford; nephews, Charles Provost of N. Chelmsford, Brendon Schroeder of Dracut, and Ryan Schroeder of Westford; nieces, Shannon Provost of N. Chelmsford, and Elizabeth Schroeder of Westford. She is also survived by grand-nephew and grand-niece, Connor and Gwendolyn Stenquist of N. Chelmsford.

Stephen A. Slaney (14 May 1951 - 30 Sep 2015, Age: 64)
DRACUT, MA -- Stephen A. Slaney, 64, a longtime resident of Dracut passed away on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital following a battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Joan M. (Manchester) Slaney with whom he shared 23 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell and was a son of the late Harold L. and Ethel L. (Black) Slaney. Stephen was a 1969 graduate of Chelmsford High School. In 1971, Stephen enlisted in the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1975.
Stephen was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished countless hours at his grandchildren's sporting events. He was one of their biggest fans. Stephen loved swimming and spending time in the mountains. He was a communicant of the First Congregational Church of Billerica.
In addition to his wife, Joan, survivors include two step children, Kimberly Nadeau of Leominster and Charles "Chuck" Nadeau of Dracut; six grandchildren, Tyler, Meghan, Brendon, Michael and Alex Jewell and Chloe Nadeau. He was the brother of the late Andrew, David, and Norman Slaney.

AUBURN, NH -- Richard P. Tevlin, 56, a 5 year resident of Auburn, NH, formerly of Las Vegas, and a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died on Thursday, January 10, 2008. He was born on October 14, 1951, in Lowell the son of the late Thomas J. and June (Weaver) Tevlin. He graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1969. Richard worked in Customer Service in New Hampshire. He had been the Assessor for the Town of Chelmsford. He enjoyed local politics, landscaping, and Las Vegas. He had a special love for his Dalmatian, Roxy. He is survived by a daughter, Rachael R. Giallongo and her husband, Scott of Auburn, NH, he was the adopted son of; Mary E. Kennedy Tevlin of Chelmsford; a brother; T. James "Jim" Tevlin and his wife, Judy, of Lowell; three sisters, Kathleen J. Owens and her husband, John, of W. Monroe, La., Suzanne J. O'Reilly of S. Berwick, Maine, and Mary Lou Haas and her husband, Robert, of Windham, NH. He was the grandfather of five, Nicole, Megan, Dane and Dylan Giallongo, and Victoria Chiras. He is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. TEVLIN Richard P. Tevlin, 56, a 5 year resident of Auburn, NH, formerly of Las Vegas, and a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died on Thursday, January 10, 2008. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Church, Chelmsford. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
